Extreme Iron Build Up -- Kimberly, WI
Challenge
The homeowner was seeing rust stains a lot in their sinks, toilets, and showers but they just kept cleaning it regularly for many years. Once they started to notice their water pressure decreasing, they called to have someone come take a look at what might be happening with their plumbing.
Solution
Our water experts checked over their current water system, and everything appeared fine until we examined the inside of one of their pipes. Finiding a thick build up of iron and calcium deposits lead us to perform a water test. They were dealing with very high levels of iron and hardness in their water. We installed a TotalCare water conditioner to remove these contaminants and prevent this kind of build up in the future. The good news is, they'll have less cleaning they'll have to do in their sinks as well!
